Each year, the Nordic Welfare Center allocates SEK 1.5 million (aprox. 137 000 EUR) to projects that promote cooperation between organizations of people with disabilities in the Nordic region. Funding for Nordic cooperation among organisations for people with disabilities is intended to help organisations that serve people with disabilities in the Nordic countries to exchange experiences and knowledge, develop projects and build partnerships with corresponding organisations in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Funded activities must promote the interests of people with disabilities in society in some way.
Funding is available for networking activities and strategic initiatives or projects in the form of a partnership, for example, in the form of a conference, the production of printed information or a campaign.
